Forbes Introduces ForbesWomen Forum For Female Leaders To Exchange Insights, Ideas And Knowledge
NEW YORK – April 20, 2020 – Forbes today introduced the ForbesWomen Forum, a unique and invite-only virtual networking space for leading women to exchange dialogue and share ideas during this challenging time.
The ForbesWomen Forum is the latest in a series of Forbes Forums introduced in the last month to allow leaders to connect one-on-one, share insights and information, and offer inspiration.
“As we face a time of unprecedented uncertainty and upheaval, I’ve been hearing from leading women who are stepping up to meet these challenges head on and it’s become clear that an exchange of insights and support has never been more critical,” said Moira Forbes, Executive Vice President, Forbes and Publisher, ForbesWomen. “This private Forum offers a peer-to-peer exchange to share insights and offer support to successfully navigate these turbulent times and ultimately empower each other’s success.”
“We’ve seen how a global pandemic can exacerbate many of the challenges women face today, particularly the issues of persistent pay inequality and the often-inequitable division of labor at home. ForbesWomen is committed to supporting and advancing women’s leadership—in this moment and beyond,” said Maggie McGrath, associate editor at Forbes and the editor of ForbesWomen. “But we’re also heartened by the entrepreneurial efforts and ingenuity we’ve seen from our community over these past few weeks, which is why it was so important to us to create a private and safe space for women leaders to connect. It’s our hope that this off-the-record Forum will be a useful space for women to forge connections, share ideas and trade words of encouragement.”
